Stockholm meetup!

Focus on RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka

It’s time for a meetup! Let’s get together and discuss and compare the strengths and weaknesses of RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka using an interesting use-case perspective and fun Q&A session on when to use RabbitMQ and when to use Apache Kafka, and why.

During our many years working with and hosting open source message brokers, one of the most common questions we are asked when it comes time to choose a broker is, “What is the difference between RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka?” Comparisons between these two brokers are often made by assuming that they are essentially the same and destined to solve the same issues. Amazingly, that is not always the case!

Stockholm Kafka and RabbitMQ Meetup!

84codes, together with AWS, invites you to a meetup in Stockholm on February 11, 2020. Since we’re hosting both the open-source message brokers RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka, we have experience of both brokers and interesting use-case stories to share. This informative meetup will involve a great presentation followed by a Q&A session to ask your most burning questions about message brokers and receive expert answers.

The meetup program will include:

  • A short presentation from 84codes and AWS
  • An introduction to message queuing and a short speech about differences and similarities between RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka
  • The chance to ask your questions to our specialized developers
  • Food, drinks, and a networking opportunity to meet like-minded, message queue focused people

This meetup will offer valuable information for beginners and expert message queue developers! Bring a friend and join us on Piazza Fieno, Stockholm, this February 11 at 17.30. Food and drinks are included, and the event is free of charge, but for planning reasons, we would like you to sign up by using this form: https://forms.gle/rEFrSBY1NqsK9VJP9
